Obviously it's not Christmas yet, but Scott and I got in the spirit a bit this weekend: We bought Christmas cards. No we're not crazy. It's just that we happened to come across some we actually like (and our Christmas cards must meet stringent criteria), so we went ahead and got them, since 1) If we waited till later and tried to find them again the chances would be slim to none, and 2) If we waited till later to find something we liked better the chances would be slim to none. Now if I wasn't such a procrastinator, maybe I'd actually get them out on time this year. But, ha, I doubt that will happen.
And oh yeah, I'm only sending Christmas cards to the people who leave comments. So start writing. Unless you just want a Bah Humbug.

I think we may go virtual this year. The past few years we've taken a photo, used it as a postcard, addressed and written them all, shipped them to the US where my (dear, sweet) sis-in-law has put US stamps on them (about $1.50 each to mail from here) and then sent them out. But in order to get all that done, we have to start...um, last week. So like I said - we may be going virtual!
Just curious - what are these stringent criteria?
I always know your Christmas cards are going to be great. Simple but with a nice design and message. I'll be doing good to send any out this year.
I actually got this year's Christmas cards after-Christmas last year. I thought they were too cute to pass up.
I'm very particular about Christmas cards as well! Congrats on finding something you like... that's not an easy thing! ~irene
Kari,
Pretty much what Meaghan said. Simple, nice design. Christian sentiment (happy holidays won't cut it) that's short and sweet but not cheesy. And not too much glitter.
You're making me feel like such a slacker...I need to get on this Christmas card shopping soon.
LOL Thats a good way to get people to comment! I, too, like to buy cards early... but my problem is that I forget I have them and then usually buy some more (but it all works out somehow).
Hope you're enjoying the fall weather! I cannot believe we have less than 100 days til Christmas!
