A few weeks ago, Scott's friend Mike (well, he's my friend too) and Mike's friend Trish came to New York for the day. We met them to catch the ferry over to Ellis Island.
From the ferry
Ellis Island
From there we went to the Statue of Liberty
This woman had the brightest coat I've ever seen
Sunset from Liberty Island
Waiting for the ferry to come pick us up. It was frickin' freezing!
On the ferry back to Jersey
The next day, my friend Kristin (we met in 8th grade and went to high school together) and her husband Jason came to town to visit. We met the three of them (Kris and J and Kris' uncle) at St. Patrick's Cathedral. (with a view of the Saks snowflakes)
It was freezing, so we stopped for some Starbucks. I had chai since I don't drink coffee, and boy was it good. Uh, no coffee in this photo, you'll just have to trust me that we were at Starbucks. Actually I think this was while we were waiting in line.
The Rockefeller tree (visit #1). It was soooo crowded.
Kinda blurry but I still like this shot
The tree!
Walkin' around
Radio City Music Hall (I like Kristin peeking around the corner of this one.)
After we were all thoroughly frozen, we called it a night and said our goodbyes, but it was great to see them!
